Schweigen's Isodrive® technology places the motor remotely in the roof cavity, wall or ceiling void — away from the kitchen. At low speeds the rangehood is virtually silent, because the only sound source is air moving through the filters, not a motor above the cooktop. What does Schweigen rangehood installation involve? Installation costs are typically the same as a standard rangehood. The remote motor unit is installed in the ceiling, roof cavity or bulkhead with flexible ducting. Most Australian states require external venting to outside — check your state building authority requirements. Contact us for a referral to an experienced Schweigen installer near you. Is the Schweigen rangehood covered by Australian warranty? Yes. Schweigen rangehoods sold through authorised Australian dealers carry a full Australian warranty. Airdry is an authorised Schweigen dealer — all products purchased through us are covered and supported locally. Technical specifications sourced from Schweigen — schweigen.com.au
